I'm 7 months pregnant and my boyfriend and I are still together. I'm 18 and he's 17 and he's still in high school. I work 40 hours a week at a fast food restaurant. My mom bought me a new car over the summer. My dad payed the insurance on my old car because it was so cheap. when i got my new he said he wouldn't. I have to pay my mom back half of what she payed for the car and i have to pay my insurance which is $90 a month, not to mention trying to pay off a couple of credit cards that i bought baby stuff witha dn trying to save up the rest for the baby. Bottom line, at the end of every week my paycheck is pretty much gone.My boyfriends gives me gas money because he has a job but no car, and he lives 20 miles outside of town, round trip.He also gives me money on the baby stuff. we fight constantly over money because i need help paying my mom back and paying my insurance because my car drives him around more than it does me. But the ones I see all say you must basically die within a certain window of time..if you die too soon..not covered...if you live past a certain age..not covered..are they any insurances that do not require a medical exam and a bunch of questions that does not have a window of when you must die..or could my kids get a policy on me that the SSI would not know about and say I can not have (as they only let you have term)..I do not want to draw on it just give me peace of mind at least a little will be paid to help my kids, I figure I might live at least 20 years...would they be able to get a policy on me with less than perfect health..does anyone have any suggestions or know where I might find a low premium policy that does not expire and covers you no matter how old you are at death or have some suggestion. I do have a car that takes some of the $1500 asset limits up but nothing else. want that but to bury you (the state) noone will claim you and they would never do that, so I guess they will bury me but now I feel awful like I am a big burden..they usually are very generous but funerals cost a lot and I know my son wants cremated but I don't want that. I think I will see if they can open a savings account and I will put a little in it a month and try to convince them to also..if I live 20 years plus, it will be something at least. I am nowhere near death's door and plan on living long but I am recently beginning diabetes and I was dating a man in his early 40's diagnosed one uyear with diabetes and he died from it so you never know but I plan on tryig to work on my lifestyle and reverse some of these illnesses. My son has a tendency to say hurtful things. This kills me as I was a very good mom and did way beyond the "call of duty" with them. I was faithful, tried, and reared them with no help from their dad and then he cheats and divorces me and is like the good guy or something..I am broke due to my choices to put them first and then health problems..I tried..I went to college after my ex left me and got a degree and a 3.9 GPA...life just did not turn out how I hoped. My son assured me since they will pay for my funeral and assured me with good god mom why do you always panic. we asren't going to cart you off to the medical lab or to be a crash dummies. I just want you to understand you are going to have to have the cheapest funeral they havre sheesh! I feel relieved but may still start a savings account to make small deposits in to help some. I guess I will forget insurance as term is not a good deal. If you do not die by a certain age you have nothing and lose it all better to put it into a savings account and I would not be able to get whole due to exam, cost, and the state rules. I do have giood kids sometimes and shouldn't have got panicy cause he was in his usual bad mood. ps--the amount edicaid pays in some cases only is about $200 BTW

I'm working 2 jobs, a ft & a pt. I need help deciding which health insurance to pick. One thing to keep in mind-- I am currently pregnant (11 weeks), so need the BEST coverage recommendation.

*first health benefit-full time job: (single only)
-$28.16 weekly cost
-Deductible=$1300
-70% after deductible
-$30 copay then 100%
-$1,000,000 life time maximum benefit-- (i have no clue what that is)
*in this plan, there is a choice of ppo & non ppo.. what is the difference??

*second health benefit part time- (single)
+option 1
-$50 weekly cost
-Deductible = $250
-90% to $10,000 coinsurance
-$30 copay then 100%
-2,000,000 life time maximum

+option 2
-$43.00 weekly cost
-500 deductible
-90% to $10,000 coinsurance
-30 copay then 100%
-same 2,000,000 life time maximum.

+option 3
-35.00 weekly cost
-1000 deductible
-80% to $10,000 coinsurance
-30 copay then 100%

I don't know which insurance option i should go with.. i don't want to be cheap..
